User friendly Waldorf gas and electric salamanders are well equipped to meet the production and performance demands of the professional kitchen. A Salamander is similar to a grill the only difference being that it only cooks from above. This is fantastic for glazing, cooking surface ingredients, browning or melting cheese. Having grill flames only on top also makes the grill easier to clean from underneath.
