The Brandon Story
Brandon has a proud history of manufacturing in Australia. Starting in 1975, Harold Warszewski founded Brandon from a small factory in the industrial area of Moorabbin. The newly built Moorabbin area was the centre of manufacturing in Victoria, Australia; at one time having more small businesses operational than any other region in the southern hemisphere. Harold’s father had been a manufacturer in Europe and taught Harold the basic techniques and principles of refrigeration.
Brandon’s ability to manufacture efficient and customised kitchen equipment, particularly in refrigeration, allows the company to fill a very specific area of industry that still exists today. Hand crafted products designed with reliability, robustness and style has given Brandon a fantastic position within the Australian and international market place.
Brandon has always known people are the key to its success, bringing customers and employees together in a process of consultation to achieve the optimal results. This makes the company focussed on fostering ongoing and long-lasting partnerships with an emphasis on communication and team-work.
Today Brandon Industries is still a family owned business that employs more than 20 staff spread across design, production, and administration—all within the same Moorabbin office. Our modern showroom is set up to display a large range of commercial kitchen equipment to the public since it is important that a potential customer is able to get a feel for the machinery that they are going to use in their commercial kitchen setup.
