Here we have the instantly recognisable salt and pepper shaker set. The thin neck and bulbous bottom means that they have a good capacity as well as being difficult to knock over. The low centre of gravity also means that it should be harder to tip too much onto a plate of food. This may seem sensible in theory, but in practice a customer would just over-compensate and end up making the mistake of over-peppering anyway. This is not the shakers fault, however.
